isionary Rev. Sandra D. Banks is an ordained Elder, serving in pastoral capacity and the organizer of Jerusalem Empowered A.M.E. Church Milwaukee Wisconsin. She serves as Pastor in the Fourth Episcopal District under the leadership of Rev. Dr. John F. White, Senior Presiding Bishop in the AME Church. As Servant Leader her passion for ministry is transformational Discipleship and Kingdom Empowerment.

 

        She has facilitated Kingdom ministry in a plethora of  Workshops, Retreats, Preaching engagements, Conferences, Seminars, Presenter for Local, District, and Connectional assemblies. Pastor Banks first served in pastoral leadership for 3 years at Wayman AMEC, Delavan, Wisconsin until inspired by the Holy Spirit to plant Jerusalem Empowered AMEC in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2003.

 

         Our faith Community is the benefactor of Pastor Banks Visionary leadership in productive ministry. The church represents Community transformation in expression of First Century Jesus Way ministry. As a social agent of change we provide resources through community partnerships and collaboration with Milwaukee Social Agencies.

 

         Rev. Sandra D. Banks received a B.A. in Business Management & Communication, B.A. in Criminal Justice from Concordia University Mequon, Wisconsin, B.A. in Religious Studies from Milwaukee Theological Institute, earned a Master of Divinity from Garrett Theological Seminary, Evanston IL, and Certification in Youth Ministry from Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton New Jersey, and she is the recipient of a myriad of certificates and awards.
